The Digital Leaders at St Dominic Savio are a group of dedicated and enthusiastic students who take on a key leadership role in our school community. Selected for their passion for technology, they meet weekly to explore new tools, develop their digital skills and stay at the forefront of technological advancements.
As part of their responsibilities, the Digital Leaders support both teachers and students during lessons, ensuring that technology is used effectively and safely. They are well-versed in our SMART rules of internet safety and take pride in guiding their peers to use the internet responsibly.
Each year, the Digital Leaders take an active role in Safer Internet Day in February, leading the assembly and educating the whole school on how to stay safe online. Through their involvement, the Digital Leaders not only enhance their own technical abilities but also develop valuable leadership skills, inspiring others to embrace technology in a safe and responsible manner.
At St Dominic Savio, our Digital Leaders are vital in creating a safe and innovative learning environment for all. As we are reminded in Scripture: “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). With faith as their foundation, our Digital Leaders model dedication, responsibility, and service to others.
