Our Catholic mission is to “Serve the Lord with Joy.” These words were taught to St. Dominic Savio by his teacher, St. John Bosco. Joy is a fruit of the Holy Spirit and is deeply rooted in Scripture:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control” (Galatians 5:22–23).
We seek to fulfil this mission in every aspect of school life and we joyfully celebrate the many ways it is lived out each day. We are deeply proud of our Catholic identity, and our ethos ensures that every child feels welcomed, valued, and supported. Through this, we strive to provide a joyful and enriching learning experience for all.
"Older pupils serve as outstanding role models by demonstrating kindness and respect, reflecting the school’s positive values. Pupils raise money for charity and think about others’ needs. The school is a harmonious community, where parents and carers are overwhelming supportive."
(Ofsted, February 2020).
“A good school provides a rounded education for the whole person. And a good Catholic school, over and above this, should help all its students to become saints."
(Pope Benedict XVI, 2010)
Our Section 48 Inspection from the Diocese of Portsmouth graded us as 'Outstanding' in all areas. We are immensely proud of this achievement!
