St Dominic Savio Catholic Primary School ‘Serve the Lord with Joy’

School Closure

The Prime Minister made an unprecedented announcement to close UK schools at the end of Friday 20 March. After School Club will still run until 6.00 pm on Friday. We will then 'close'.

Under the 'Learning' tab is a 'Remote Learning' section. This is where we will upload learning materials to continue pupils' education at home. Please refer to the remote learning page for further information. This is work in progress page.

We will now be awaiting the Cabinet Office's publication of 'key workers' this morning. These children (if parents so wish) can continue to attend school. When we have more information we can then share how that will work at St Dominic Savio. We will be sending out a form to complete for eligible key workers.

If your child is currently being self-isolated and we are aware, there is no need to phone every day that they are in isolation. We will automatically code the registers for 14 days accordingly so that staff know. You can report absence by telephone or email.

Thank you for your ongoing support in what is an uncertain time for everyone.
